What is the most important idea you
have learned in Unit 1? Why? Elaborate.
The most important idea that I
learned about in Unit 1 is the long, tedious processes that people must undergo
in order to provide clean, purified water. From the foul water lab to the
intense fish kill mystery or the appearances of a saturated solution, I learned
that even though water may appear to be pure, with several added chemicals, it
can in fact be extremely dangerous for people to consume. Going forward, I now
know that drinking fresh water is not something I can or should take for
granted; I must be grateful for all of the clean water that I drink because it
is extremely hard to obtain.
